My first guitar was gifted to me (thanks Mom & Dad) at the age of nine. I remember putting it on my Christmas list, wanting to be the next Taylor Swift. Fourteen years have gone by and I still can't put my guitar down!
 

I began writing my own songs at around fourteen. Songwriting gave me the ability to share my own story and feelings yet also resonate with others on a deeper level. I think it is incredibly powerful how music affects each and every one of us. I remember an instance where I played one of my songs, "Wound" to a close family friend who had a troubling first marriage. By the end of me performing my song, she was in total tears. She could not believe how a song, written by someone who was only nineteen, brought back so many memories.

It's no surprise that the reason I looked up to Taylor Swift because of her ability to relate to so many young girls out there! We are all human and all go through similar things in life. We all feel. I want to inspire others through my own personal expression of my feelings.

Below I have shared some of my original songs. I have written quite a lot over the years (feelings, I know) and have learned a great deal about songwriting through trial and error.
